We price our quilts by square inch and charge for thread along with any additional services needed. Our edge-to-edge patterns are defined as patterns that start at the top edge and are the same over the entire quilt.
Quilting:
-Basic Designs (stippling, waves, ) .015 per square inch
-Edge to Edge Pantographs: Range from .02– .025 cents per square inch
-Light Custom (Edge to edge in the middle of quilt, extra design on borders): .275 per square inch
Thread:
-Solid Color: (Superior So Fine) $5.00 flat rate/ $7.50 for king or queen quilts
-Variegated: (King Tut/So Fine) $10.00 flat rate/ $15.00 for king or queen quilts
Batting:
-Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 Natural Batting: .25-.30 cents per linear inch.
How to get a rough estimate of cost of quilting:
-Determine the overall square inches of your quilt. Measure the width and length of your quilt. Multiply these two measurements. For example: a quilt measuring 65” x 77”= 5005 square inches.
-Multiply the total square inch by the cost of the quilting design. For example: 5005 x $.02= $100.10 for the edge to edge quilting services
